Select Foot and Ankle Specialists is a podiatry practice founded by Dr. Chris Correa DPM FACFAS. Dr. Correa is Board Certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) and has been treating patients since 2015. He specializes in treating disorders of both the foot and ankle and treats such conditions as ingrown toenails, foot pain, Plantar fasciitis (Heel Pain), neuroma, bunions, ankle pain, foot and ankle fracture, custom orthotics and more! We proudly serve the Fairfield, Cypress, Tomball, Towne Lake, Jersey Village, Northern Katy, Magnolia and Waller areas. Podiatric Medicine

Dr. Christopher Correa is a podiatrist based in Cypress Texas who specializes in medical diagnosis and treatment of foot and ankle problems. Common foot and ankle conditions treated by podiatrist include bunions, heel pain, spurs, hammertoes, neuromas, ingrown toenails, warts, corns and calluses.  Most podiatrist including Dr. Correa also treat sprains, fractures, infections, and injuries of the foot, hind foot and ankle and furnishes custom orthotics. Education requirements for a podiatrist are 4 years of undergraduate, 4 year of medical school training with many podiatrists completing post graduate training in the form of a three year surgical residency. Podiatrists are required to take state and national exams, as well as be licensed by the state in which they practice and make seek board certification once in practice. For those seeking board certification through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ABFAS), additional testing and a submission of surgical cases for review are required.

According to the American Podiatric Medical Association, there are an estimated 18,000 practicing podiatrists in the United States. With the aging population rapidly increasing the demand for podiatrists continues to grow year over year.
