Appointments

At Select Foot and Ankle Specialists we know your time is valuable. Which is why we make scheduling an appointment as simple as making a phone call. While in many cases SFAS can offer same day appointments, please bear in mind that some insurance plans, such as HMO plans, require a referral from your primary care doctor before you can see any specialist. This sometimes requires a visit with that doctor regarding your current problem before such a referral can be made.

 

We do ask that all new patients show up 30 minutes early to fill out paperwork prior to your first appointment. Patients who have not seen us in a while may also be asked to show up early to update their paperwork.

Here at Select Foot and Ankle Specialists is contracted with most major insurance carriers including United Healthcare plans, Blue Cross and Blue Shield,  Humana, Cigna, Aetna and Medicare and more. For your convivence our staff will verify your benefits to ensure your eligibility status before your visit. Below you will find a more complete list of the insurance plans we accept.

Please do keep in mind that insurance Co-pays and Co insurance will be due at the time of the appointments. We respectfully ask that you please come prepared to meet this obligation with cash, check or credit card. Discounted self pay prices are offered for uninsured patients.
